Bishop Suzie E. Jones currently serves as Presiding Prelate and Chief Apostle of Greater New Life Covenant Ministries formerly known as St. John Assemblies. Our headquarters is located at 4560 Tell Road in Southwest Atlanta. With a genuine love for people, she understands the importance of meeting individuals where they are in order to effectively lead them. This approach has allowed her to successfully address the diverse needs of people across different denominations. Bishop Suzie's extensive experience, training, and education in ministry has prepared her for this vital leadership role. In December 1991, she accepted God's call to preach the gospel and was ordained shortly after.




The primary vision Bishop Jones has for Greater New Life Covenant Ministries is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and educate those who have joined the believers' community. She firmly believes and takes to heart Luke 4:18 which states, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor." Her practical teaching style brings scriptures alive in people's hearts, leading them into personal encounters with the Lord.

 

For twenty-eight years, Suzie E. Jones worked for Fulton County Government, she served as a Judicial Assistant to Judge Brenda H. Cole at the State Court of Fulton County and as an Administrative Associate for the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department. She was married to the late Caudell Jones, Sr.  Suzie is a proud mother of two (Pastor) DeAndria Stringfield and (Overseer) Caudell Jones II, grandmother, and great grandmother. 




Bishop Suzie E. Jones graduated from Sawyer College of Business and Beulah Heights University with honors (Magnum Cum Laude). She holds an Associate, Bachelor's, and Master of Arts degree in Christian Education. She was recognized among Who’s Who among college students and is a member of the National Association of Professional Women.




For fourteen years until her passing, Suzie served under Pastor Carolyn Backmon's leadership. In 1997 she became Senior Pastor at The Ministry of New Life under the leadership of Apostle D. Elizabeth Alston's apostolic covering at St John Deliverance Tabernacle, Nyack, New York where she faithfully served for twenty-two years. In 2005 Pastor Jones was consecrated as Overseer/First Assistant at St. John Assemblies. 




Under Bishop Jones' leadership, the churches have experienced tremendous growth. The Lord continues to add to Greater New Life Covenant Ministries as she serves with sincerity and dedication. Bishop Jones has authored her first book titled "My Personal Time with God," which is available for purchase on Amazon. She has also developed training manuals for our fellowship, daily personal prayer points, ministry training, new covenant membership (for those new or being planted in a new location within the Body of Christ.
