Pastor Chris Belcher

Pastor Christopher Belcher's inspiring journey began in his formative years when he felt the call to preach, a calling he has faithfully followed since 2010. In 1997, his musical talents flourished under the mentorship of his grandmother, the esteemed Founding Pastor, Apostle Carolyn Backmon, at The Ministry of New Life. In 2003, his devotion to music deepened as he served full-time under the guidance of his God-Mother, the respected Chief Prelate, Apostle Suzie E. Jones.

For over a decade, beginning in 2008, Pastor Chris nurtured the spiritual growth of young souls as the dedicated Youth Pastor at The Ministry of New Life in Atlanta, GA. Today, he stands as the Assistant Pastor to the esteemed Senior Pastor, Overseer Caudell Jones II.

Hailing from the vibrant borough of Queens, New York, Chris's roots intertwined with the heart of College Park, GA, where he has been a steadfast presence since 1989. He's an alumnus of Clark Atlanta University, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Film and later pursued a Master's degree from the prestigious Whitney M. Young School of Social Work.

His academic and spiritual journey led him to explore religious courses at CAU, broadening his understanding of spirituality in the modern era. This enlightenment not only allowed him to minister to the youth in his congregation but also to share his God-given musical gifts in local schools, inspiring young minds to put God first and chase their dreams.

Beyond the pulpit, Chris's talents have graced worldwide screens in acclaimed productions, including Drumline 2, Baby Driver, Respect, and many more.

His diverse experiences extend to a role as a licensed clinician, holding an LMSW licensure in the state of Delaware. Currently, he finds purpose in service at the VA Department of Defense.

Renowned for his dynamic and practical teaching style, Pastor Chris serves as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CHRIS DRUMZ FOUNDATION Inc., headquartered in Atlanta, GA. Here, he continues his mission of uplifting and empowering others.

In the company of his beloved wife, Elder Ceceillia Belcher, they joyfully embrace the role of parents to two precious children, Nasir Ermias and Brooklyn Chanel. Pastor Chris's journey is one of unwavering dedication, spiritual enlightenment, and a relentless commitment to guiding others on their path of faith and purpose.
